The Breeders' Cup 2011

The 28th Breeder’s Cup will be hosted for a consecutive year at Churchill Downs, the home of the Kentucky Derby.  It’s said to be the one of the richest horseracing events in the world, offering a purse of over $26 million!

The Breeders Cup was formed in 1982 by John R. Gaines and consists of fourteen top class horse races raced annually at different racecourses each year. When the Breeders Cup was orginally set up it was a single day event but due to popularity new races were introduced and since 2007 the Breeders Cup Races have been run over two days.

The event is an end of year championship which attracts plenty of interest from European Runners as well as the obvious interest in the US itself. With the addition of the two days the event now awards over $26 million in prize money.

This two day event will be held on November 4-5, 2011 and will feature the top Thoroughbred horses from around the globe going head to head in various grade divisions, distances and purses.

On November 4th we’ll be featuring horsebetting odds on the Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Sprint, Marathon, and Fillies Turf, also on the Filly & Mare Sprint, Grey Goose Juvenile Fillies, Emirates Airlines Filly & Mare Turf and Ladies’ Classic.

The following day on November 5th, you can place your horse racing wagers on the Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Turf, Sentinent Jet Sprint, Turf Sprint, Grey Goose Juvenile, TVG Mile, Dirt Mile, Emirates Airline Turf and last but not least the Breeder’s Cup Classic.
