The 29th Breeder’s Cup will be hosted at Santa Anita Park. It’s said to be the one of the richest horseracing events in the world, offering a purse of over $26 million!
The Breeders Cup was formed in 1982 by John R. Gaines and consists of fifteen top class horse races raced annually at different racecourses each year. When the Breeders Cup was orginally set up it was a single day event but due to popularity new races were introduced and since 2007 the Breeders Cup Races have been run over two days.
The event is an end of year championship which attracts plenty of interest from European Runners as well as the obvious interest in the US itself. With the addition of the two days the event now awards over $26 million in prize money.
This two day event will be held on November 2-3, 2012 and will feature the top Thoroughbred horses from around the globe going head to head in various grade divisions, distances and purses.
On November 2nd we’ll be featuring horse wagering odds on the Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Sprint, Marathon, Juvenile Fillies Turf, Juvenile Fillies, Filly & Mare Turf and the Ladies’ Classic.
The following day on November 3rd, you can place your horse racing wagers on the Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Turf, Filly and Mare Sprint, Dirt Mile, Turf Sprint, Juvenile, Turf, Sprint, Mile and last but not least the Breeder’s Cup Classic.
