Breeders’ Cup - October 25th Late Pick Four - Races 6 Through 9

The late Pick 4 on Breeders’ Cup Day starts with the Juvenile Turf and ends with the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
As is my style, I will not use Curlin, the 7 to 5 chalk in the Classic, in my Pick Four. Why? Because he will be the single on a lot of Pick Four tickets. I truly believe that what online racebook fans need to do is take a stand against chalk and roll the dice on these races!
Let’s get to it!
Race 6 - - Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf
Going five deep is probably the answer in this race. I mean, there’s no way for online betting fans to take a stand in this thing. Let’s go with Westphalia (5/1), Donativum (6/1), Skipadate (6/1), Bittel Road (7/2) and Grand Adventure at (5/1).
Race 7 - - Breeders’ Cup Sprint
We have to go at least four deep in this race. Fatal Bullet looks very, very tough, but there’s no way to key one of these horses in a Pick Four. In my Pick 6 write-up, I might have to key Fatal Bullet, but in this online wager, I just can’t get myself to do it. Let’s use Cost of Freedom (4/1), Fabulous Strike (4/1), Midnight Lute (7/2), Fatal Bullet (6/1).
Race 8 - - Breeders’ Cup Turf
Okay, here’s where it gets tough. If we go three deep in this leg, we have to go two deep in the Classic. If we go two deep in here, we can go three deep in the Classic. You know what? The Turf appears more difficult to me. So, let’s go three deep in here. Let’s go with Red Rocks (5/1), Soldier of Fortune (7/2) and Winchester (15/1).
Race 9 - - Breeders’ Cup Classic
Here’s the thing - - since we spread in the first three legs of this Pick Four, we pretty much have to stick to two horses in this race. Who are the two that we like? How about Henrythenavigator at 10 to 1 and Fairbanks at 10 to 1. Fairbanks is the lone speed in this race. Henrythenavigator is simply the second classiest horse in here after Curlin.
Total investment for a $1 Pick Four - - $120
Good Luck!
