Hearherecho - - 6/1 morning line odds

There is a lot of speed in this race, but Hearherecho not only appears to be the fastest but gets the outside draw where jockey C D Madeira can put her on the lead or let her track the other pacesetters. Her maiden score was fantastic and this will be only her third lifetime race which means improving isn’t out of the question. She’s gong to be tough in this.

Eleganttiger - - 3/1 morning line odds

The 3 to 1 morning line favorite definitely has a chance to win this race, but she’s going to have to stalk a wicked pace or be a part of it. Hearherecho gets to control things from the outside while Eleganttiger could get caught up in a pace duel with a number of others in here. She’s got the goods and has every right to win this but her draw makes her vulnerable for the win money. Still, she has to be considered for the exotics.

Birdie’s Ghost - - 10/1 morning line odds

She comes into this off of a maiden score where she busted the best speed rating of the bunch. That makes her a contender but she did it by running on the lead and much slower early than Hearherecho did. If she tries to test the other speed, she could get burned up early but if she holds back she might be racing against her natural style. She has a shot because she’s fast, but third place might be best for Birdie’s Ghost.

I’ll bet Hearherecho to win and place. I will also put Hearherecho into an exacta and trifecta box with Birdie’s Ghost and Eleganttiger.
