November 4th Horse Pick of the Day - Mountaineer Racetrack Race 9

Mountaineer has provided some great racing for sports betting fans during the weeknights. Without a doubt, with the advent of slot machines the racing at Mountaineer has steadily improved.

There’s a lot of speed in this race which means this presser from the Tom Amoss barn should be sitting pretty in this. He’s an exceptionally talented individual that just hasn’t put it all together yet. He’s coming off of a freshening, but that shouldn’t matter because Amoss is terrific with these types. He’s the horse to beat.

Pforperfectpistol - - 4/1 online betting odds

4/1 seems like low online odds to take on a horse that will be part of a serious pace duel. Here’s the thing, Pforperfectpistol has been running at this six furlong distance while the 7 to 5 chalk in this, Lacewell, hasn’t run past 4 ½ furlongs. Lacewell probably won’t be able to harness his speed which means he gives it up to this super fast son of Souvenir Copy.

B.B. Mancini - - 8/1 morning line

His speed ratings aren’t as good as some of the others in this but that’s okay because he gets the rail and can close into a crazy speed duel that should develop in front of him. I like his chances to win this should he get a perfect trip at nice overlaid online wagering odds of 8 to 1.

If Trulyonbroadway keeps his online odds of 3 to 1, or for some crazy reason goes off at higher odds, then I’m making an online bet on him to win and place. I will also use with B.B. Mancini and Pforperfectpistol in this.
