The Pro-Ride surface has been playing fair which means speed horses on the lead could go a long way in a route race. There isn’t a single other filly or mare in this race that can stick with Yarns early. I’m making her the pick of the day.

Hot N’ Dusty - - 5/1 online betting odds

I rarely look to last out maiden winners in these types of races, but this maiden winner gets the rail and should have no trouble stretching from 6 furlongs to this mile distance. Not only that but she broke her maiden on this Pro-Ride surface. She’s a major player.

Unusual Heather - - 5/1 online betting odds

Like Hot N’ Dusty, she’s coming out of Unusual Heat. One of the things that might make her a better online wager than Hot N’ Dusty is the fact that she broke her maiden at first asking and then finished third in her second race. The experience edge means she should go off at lower odds than Hot N’ Dusty.
