A day later is the second of the two day event where the champion Breeders’ Cup Classic.

There has been steady improvement from this daughter of More Than Ready for a while now. There’s nothing not to like about this gal who ran very well in her first race, improved on the turf in her second, and then finally broke her maiden in her last. She’s got the ability to really get out there and stalk the inside speed, make a turn at the top of the stretch and just take off on this field. She’s the best bred filly in this and her trainer, Michael Trivigno, is 1 for 1 on the Mountainner racetrack. This last out maiden winner is a solid play in this.
Wise Awake - - 9/2 online betting odds
There are positives and negatives for this daughter of Wiseman’s Ferry. The positives are that she has the best early speed in the race, she broke her maiden at first asking, and she gets the outside draw where jockey Jesus Barria could take his time deciding what to do. The negatives are that she broke her maiden in a state-bred race, this allowance is for open company, and she goes to a trainer that hasn’t had a very good Mountaineer meet. BetUS sportsbook online betting fans have some things to like and some things to dislike.
Miss Spalding - - 10/1 online betting odds
There is nothing I like more than an overlaid online horse bet in a race that it can win. Such is the case with Miss Spalding who is the lone closer in a field full of speed horses. The only real knock I have against her is her affinity to close from the clouds. Rarely, even in speed laden races, does she get there. Still, she’s worth a long look at what figure to be huge online odds.
Wagering Strategy
Nothinglikegold will probably go off closer to 3 to 1 in this race. If that happens, I still like a win wager on her. She could improve tons in this thing. Wise Awake and Miss Spalding are two fillies to use in the exacta and trifecta box.
